Blush Mystery Beauty Box - December 2014

This month's Blush Mystery Beauty Box is a vast improvement over the last few months, but I am curious as to why there was no enclosure card with information on the brands that were included.  I asked a fellow subscriber and INstagram user if her box was also missing the info card and hers was as well.  I also found it a little odd that the Klorane shampoo was an exact duplicate of the bottle they sent out in the September box.  I really have enjoyed the fragrance and I am about halfway through my bottle, but I guess I don't have to use it sparingly anymore since they just sent me a replacement!  I would love to explore the Klorane brand and I wish I was able to try the matching conditioner, or a different fragrance this go round, but I am happy that the repeat product was something I really enjoy.  I have also received a Pixi eyeliner before in a sample subscription, but I think the Pixi product included in the previous Blush box was an eye shadow stick rather than an eyeliner.

This month's box included the following full size items:

Klorane Desert Date shampoo - 6.7 fl. oz - $15
Paula's Choice Shine Stopper Instant Matte Finish - 1 fl. oz  - $18.40 on sale from $23
Avene Eau Thermale Gel Cleanser - 6.67 fl. oz - $20
Cargo Cosmetics Eye Shadow in Oz - 0.12 oz - $16
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in True Teal - 0.4 oz - $12

And these travel size or deluxe samples:

Clean Shower Fresh Eau de Parfum - 0.17 fl. oz - $6.46
Fusion Beauty Plump and Shine Lipstick in Babydoll - 0.04 oz - $8
Ahava Dead Sea Water Mineral Body Lotion -  1.3 fl. oz - $3.25 (listed for $8 on Beauty.com)
Keranique Scalp Stimulating Shampoo - 1 fl. oz - $3.75
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR Dry oil - 0.33 fl. oz - $8

The prices are all approximate and based on the full sizes offered on the Blush.com, Dermstore, Hair Envy and Target family of brands.  This box is well over the promised minimum of $100 value, worth $110.86 when the lowest prices I found were added up.  I'll will try everything this month, although I doubt I'll get much use from the Paula's Choice product since my skin is so dry in the winter.  I will definitely save it for warmer temperatures.  I'm actually really excited for a lot of these items, and even the yellow eye shadow is growing on me since I saw a tutorial on the Blush site that showed it is actually a sheer sparkly gold that can be used as a highlighter on cheekbones as well as an eye shadow shade.

I'm glad that this subscription had a great month and I'll be keeping it into the new year.  I hope to see more brands represented or at the very least a wider variety of products from them.  Did you get a Blush Mystery Box this month?  Were you happy with the selections?  Let me know in the comments if you have any experience with these brands and if there are any products that you love from them.
